The NYSUT Coronavirus Toolkit website offers a gateway to resources on the coronavirus outbreak, including guidance specific to public school employees, higher education faculty, and to our members who work in health care.
On Friday, March 12, 2021, LBCTA members proudly wore red to show our solidarity and to remind the public that we have been dedicated to providing a challenging and enriching curriculum despite the setbacks we endured and continue to endure due to the Covid-19 pandemic. We will continue to provide our students with a quality education and provide support to parents and caretakers. We are all in this together!
Congratulations to Team 11561 for raising $7,7041.00 for Making Strides Against Breast Cancer! Thank you to everyone that participated, walked, purchased shirts, and donated to this very worthwhile cause.

On February 13, 2020 the LBCTA held its 4th annual bowling fundraiser for Sunrise Day Camp, LI at Maple Lanes in Rockville Centre. This fundraising event raised over $6,000 for a very worthy organization that provides a free summer day camp experience for children and their siblings who have been affected by cancer or serious illness. On Thursday, February 27, 2020 members of the LBCTA demonstrated their support for our NYSUT brothers and sisters in the Lawrence Teachers' Association by wearing red. Lawrence teachers have been without a contract since 2011!
